Pleasing Sis

I love my sister, I really do, but sometimes I just want to... you know :D Everytime I finish a card, she's the first one I show it to. After 2 hours of thinking, chosing, adjusting, cutting, colouring etc. all she says is "It's ok". Ok? OK? Grrrr... So, this time I decided to let her do the thinking and chosing (no cutting etc. 'cause I don't trust her with my equipment!). She wanted a green card with few decorations (come on, who wants no decorations???). So, this is what I came up with. Since I wasn't "allowed" to use decorations, I made a card you have to open from the middle.

And what did my sister say afterwards? "It's nice".... I guess there's just no pleasing her :D

Holidays over

The holidays have come to an end. Too bad, I finally had some time to craft again the past 2 weeks. But also, no more Christmascards to make, which is a relief to be honest, since I noticed I've run out of birthdaycards. So, still some crafting ahead for me :) I already started with this card, using my new flowers :D

Some random Christmascards

And ofcourse, approach n°3: just make some cards as usual :)

Approach n° 2

Second approach: use one, easy sketch to make different cards. You can see the results below :)

Back again!

Long time no see... again. What have I been doing all this time? Making as many Christmas/New Year/ Happy Holidays cards as possible ofcourse. I've tried to make one for all my friends, collegues and familymembers and ofcourse I've failed gloriously :D

Still, I want to show some projects of mine. My new approach this year was: try to make as many cards as possible, but without spending a day at a single card. This is the first idea I had, calld "Twincards". What I did was cut out a circle in one card and use that one as a christmassball.

Happy B-day Evi!

Past saturday we celebrated my scrapbuddy's birthday. Ofcourse I obliged myself to make the prettiest card ever!

Two weeks ago we went to a big hobby event. As always I was completely broke when I returned home. Again there was too much njummie stuff lying around... *Sigh*

So, as Evi's birthday approached, I decided to use all my new goodies :D Which payed of very well as I say so myself. I used 3 brandnew goodies: my first (and definitely not last) Martha Steward-punch, silver Stickles and a new stamp. This combined with 3 flowersets, makes this card also perfect for the "3 of a kind" challenge @ Papertake weekly . Hop over to take a look.

Happy New Kitchen!

Friends of my parents recently bought a new kitchen. Of course it had to be tested properly by throwing a party :D So, I made this card to celebrate the new addition to the house.

I had this "difficult" paper lying around. Many colours, not sure where to fit it in. Specially with the drawed lines on it. But hey, I always knew there was going to be a moment when I would be thankfull to have that paper lying in my (overloaded) box. I simply wrote a recipe on it to decorate it some more.

As far as I heard the day after, the food was very nice and so was my card according to the hosts :D Mision Accomplished!
