Verjaardagskaartje

Een verjaardagskaartje, gemaakt naar eigen ontwerp. Ik nam gewoon een aantal papieren en begon eraan :) Ik weet niet zo goed wat ik van het resultaat moet vinden. Het is de eerste keer dat ik ook de binnenkant van een kaartje versierde.

A birthdaycard, made with an own design. I just took a couple of papers and started creating :) I don't really know what to think of the result. It's the first time I did some scrapping at the inside of a card.

Verjaardagskaartje

Dit is een verjaardagskaartje dat ik maakte met een nieuwe "Gelukkige verjaardag" -stempel. Je kan het niet zo goed zien, maar hij staat op het groene rondje. De kleuren die ik hier gecombineerd heb vond ik op deze site (met dank aan Evi'tje natuurlijk :p). Je kan daar zien welke kleuren goed te combineren vallen. Ik heb op "Surprise me" geklikt en heb dan geprobeerd de kleuren die verschenen te gebruiken.

Voor alle duidelijkheid: het kaartje begint met het bruine papier, het wit dat je ziet is de scanner achtergrond (wou het strikje er volledig op :p).

This is a birthdaycard I made with my new "Happy birthday"-stamp. You can't see it very well, it's on the green round. I've found the colours I've combined here (thanks to Evi ofcourse :p). You can see which colours are good to combine. I clicked on "Surpise me" and tried to use the appearing colours.

To be clear: the card starts from the brown paper, the white background you see is the scanner (I wanted my ribbon completely on my picture :p).

Award

I got these awards from Lorraine, along with 4 others Newbies :) , as an encouragement to keep on going. That's just supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, don't you think? :)

The first thing to do is to mention 5 things I'm addicted to...

Sketch Saturday Challenge 33

Deze week bij Sketch Saturday Challenge : een schets gebruiken. Ik had nog prachtige kerststickers liggen, die ik nu wel eens moest gebruiken. Zo breidt ik ook mijn verzameling kerstkaartjes uit, zodat ik er tegen Kerst genoeg heb om te sturen naar vrienden :)

This week at Sketch Saturday Challenge : use sketch 33. I still had wonderfull Christmasstickers, which I had to use this time. Like this, my collection Chrismascards grows and maybe I'll have enough of them to send all of my friends one at Christmas :)

Cute Card Thursday

Voor de Cute Card Thursday Challenge moest je iets gebruiken dat je gekregen hebt voor Kerstmis of iets dat je voor jezelf gekocht hebt. Ik gebruikte mijne nieuwe Derwentpotloden om mijn stempel in te kleuren.

For the Cute Card Thursday Challenge you had to use something you got for Christmas or something you bought yourself. I used my new Derwentpencils to colour my stamp.

Nu had ik een magnifieke stempel, wilde ik hem inkleuren ook natuurlijk :) Ik doe met dit kaartje mee aan de Papertake Weekly Challenge, waar het thema "Bolletjes" is.

Since I had this great stamp, I wanted to colour it too :) With this card, I join the Papertake Weekly Challenge with the theme "Spots".

Verjaardagskaartje

Gisteren kocht ik deze schattige stempel bij Crafts and Things en ik moest er toch direct eens mee werken. Ideaal hiervoor was de schets van de Sugar Bowl Challenge. Helaas kan ik daar niet aan meedoen, maar dat hield me niet tegen om de schets te gebruiken :)

Yesterday I bought this cute stamp at Crafts and Things and I wanted to use it immediately. I thought the sketch of the Sugar Bowl Challenge was perfect.Too bad I can't join in, but that didn't stop me from using the sketch :)

Pollycraft Monday Challenge

De challenge van Pollycraft was deze week om eens te doodlen op een kaartje. Het is misschien niet zo opvallend, maar ik vind het toch geslaagd, vooral omdat het een echt jongenskaartje is.

The Pollycraft challenge of this week was to use doodles on your card. It's maybe not so obvious, still I think it worked out well, especially because it's a boyscard.

Deze kaart maakte ik voor de Cute Card Thursday Challenge. Het was een open thema, alles is dus welkom. Ik koos voor een kerstkaartje, omdat ik nog zo'n schitterend gestempeld kaartje had liggen van Evi. Die sneeuwman is fantastisch!

I made this card for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge. It was an open theme, so everything is welcome. I wanted to make a christmascard, because I still had an amazing stamped piece of paper from Evi. I looooove that snowman!

Party Animal Challenge

En ja hoor, wéér een challenge :) Deze challenge komt van Katharina Frei, wiens blog trouwens fantastische schetsen bevat! Het gestempelde kaartje kom van (ja hoor) Evi :) Ik weet niet goed wat ik van het resultaat moet vinden.

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Na de eerste deelname aan een challenge kreeg ik de smaak te pakken. Deze kaart is gemaakt voor de Sketch Saturday Challenge, waar je uit 30 schetsen kon kiezen. Ik koos voor nummer 9. De foto is wel een beetje mislukt, het kaartje ziet er beter uit in het echt :)

After participating my first challenge, I wanted to do that some more. This card is made for the Sketch Saturday Challenge, where you could choose out of 30 sketches. I chose number 9. The picture's not so good, in reality the card looks better :)

Papertake Weekly Challenge

Deze kaart maakte ik voor de Papertake Weekly Challenge, op basis van een schets die daar gepost werd. Het is verrassend om te zien hoe uiteenlopend alle kaarten zijn, terwijl je toch vanuit dezelfde schets vertrekt. Er viel met deze challenge niets te winnen, enkel wat extra eergevoel :)

I made this card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge, it's based on a sketch posted there. It's surprising how different al the cards are, even when you've started out from the same sketch. There was nothing to win this time, only a bit more honour :)

Friendskaart

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor een vriendin die een steuntje in de rug kon gebruiken. Ik gebruikte twee keer dezelfde doodlestempel. Zelf ben ik niet echt overtuigd van het resultaat.

I made this card for a friend who could use some extra support. I used the same doodlestamp twice. I'm not really convinced of the result.

Boekje

Toen een vriendin van mij een boekje maakte, wou ik me daar ook eens aan wagen. Klein verschil: zij heeft een Zutter en ik niet :) Gelukkig vond ik dankzij haar een goede site met enkele eenvoudige manieren. Ik ben toch tevreden met het resultaat, enkel de binnenkant moet nog afgewerkt worden.

When a friend of mine made a little book, I wanted to try that out too. Minor difference: she has a Zutter and I haven't :) Thanks to her I 've found a good site where some simple examples are published. I'm pretty happy with the result, only the inside needs yet to be finished.

Kerstkaart

Voor mijn verjaardag kreeg ik deze superleuke stempel van een vriendin. Ook de doodlestempel aan de linkerkant is 1 van m'n nieuwe aanwinsten. De doodlestempel is met gewone zwarte inkt gemaakt, de andere met distressinkt, evenals de "Season's Greetings".

For my birthday I got this very nice stamp from a friend. The doodlestamp on the left is also one of my new stamps. I used regular black ink for the doodlestamp and both the other stamp as the "Season's Greetings" are don with distressink.

Kerstkaartje

Een niet zo traditioneel kerstkaartje in het paars. Ik gebruikte de ongelooflijk schattige stempel van "House Mouse".

A less traditional christmascard in purple. I used the amazing cute stamp of "House Mouse".

Scrapdagje

Toen ik net met scrappen begon, mocht ik langsgaan bij m'n goede vriendin Evi voor een klein cursusje. Stel je voor, 2 scrappers aan 1 tafel ... dat is vragen om een rommeltje :) En omdat Evi de foto's niet op haar blog heeft gezet, voel ik mij verplicht op ze op de mijne te zetten (sorry Evi ;) ).

When I just started scrapping, I could go to my good friend Evi to take a little scrapcourse. Imagine, 2 scrappers at the same table... that just had to be a mess :) And because Evi hasn't put the photo's on her blog, I just had to put them on mine (sorry Evi ;) ).

Friendskaart

Een vriendenkaartje helemaal in het blauw (ik hou van blauw!!!!! :D ). "Friends" is geëmbossed, "For you" is gestempeld met blauwe distressinkt. Ook hier weer de bloemetjes met eyeletjes.

A friendscard totally in blue (I loooooove blue!!!!! :D). I have embossed "Friends" and I stamped "For you" with blue distressink. Also here the flowers with eyelets.

Verjaardagskaartje

Een verjaardagskaart. De stempel is gedaan met distressinkt. De eerste keer dat ik eyelets gebruikt heb om de bloempjes te versieren.

A birthdaycard. I used distressink for the stamp. It was also the first time I used eyelets to decorate the flowers.

Kerstkaart

Een kerstkaartje in de traditionele kleuren. De eerste keer dat ik mijn geweldige "Season's Greetings" stempel gebruikt heb.
